Christopher G. Wood, MD, FACA
His current position is an Associate Professor
of Urology and Cancer Biology at The University of Texas MD Anderson
Cancer Center. He is board certified through the American Board
of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Christopher Wood is a member of the Medical Advisory Board
of the Kidney Cancer Association. Both his research interests
and clinical practice focus on the problems associated with urologic
oncology with a specific aim towards renal cell carcinoma. His
clinical practice treats a wide range of patients with a variety
of genitourinary malignancies including renal cell carcinoma,
prostate cancer, bladder cancer, testis cancer and urethral cancer.
He has a strong interest in developing chemoprevention strategies
for cancer in general, but also, urologic malignancies in particular.
