BRIAN L. HOFFMAN
Brian L. Hoffman became a partner of Bonne, Bridges,
Mueller, O'Keefe & Nichols in 1998, originally joining the
firm in 1990 after graduating law school. Mr. Hoffman's practice
is focused on preparing and trying cases in Professional Liability
(medical and legal malpractice), Product Liability, Premises Liability
and HMO Liability. His clients include multi-state medical malpractice
insurance companies, multi-state HMO's, general liability insurance
companies, multi-national product manufacturers, The Regents of
the University of California, private physicians and lawyers.
Mr. Hoffman has tried/arbitrated over 50 cases in the Superior
Court and before private Judges.
Mr. Hoffman graduated from University of California,
Davis in 1986 with a B.S. degree in Human Physiology/Human Performance
and a minor in English. He attended Southwestern University School
of Law graduating in 1990.
Mr. Hoffman has lectured throughout the state
on issues pertaining to the Medical Injury Compensation Reform
Act (MICRA), has conducted seminars for universities, private
physician groups and nurses, and performed risk management audits
for hospitals and private practices.
Mr. Hoffman is a member of The Association of
Southern California Defense Counsel, Los Angeles Bar Association,
The American Society for Industrial Security, The Litigation Section
of the ABA, the Ad Hoc Committee on Health Law of the Business
Law Section of the State Bar of California. He is a graduate of
the American Board of Trial Advocates trial school.
